A quick post today. I'm getting ready for the trip to Canada and with the good (vacation) comes the bad (working to get ahead).
Our baseball team's season came to a close this past Thursday. We were drubbed 18-0 by a better team. We started the game with 3 walks and an error where all 4 runs scored. We were down 5-0 before we batted. The worse stat of all was our SP gave up 9 runs, 8 were unearned! The loss put us at 18-19 for the year which was worse than projected but better than realized during the course of the season. We won Regionals for the first time in 16 years and that was bitter-sweet by the pounding we took at the end. However, there is a building block; we started 4 sophomores and a freshman so the future looks bright.
