Super Bowl.  Honestly, I don’t wanna bust out with my thoughts because everybody has a breakdown or some other stuff like that.  Let me just say that I think just about everybody outside of Indy wants to see  the Saints to win this shit!  I’m pissed at the Colts, and I’m not a frenchy lover, but you gotta love the Fleur de Lis. 

Oh, you know what would be really cool, a special (and live) show of “Steven Segal, Lawman” where he’s crackin’ domes on Bourbon Street tomorrow night!

NFL in strike/lockout mode?  Hey NFL , tell me something, are you crazy or just plain stupid?  Well, I guess stupid is as stupid does.  A lockout or strike in 2011? 

LATE EDIT.  Adding to the stupid, how the hell does Warren Sapp hit the police blotter by getting picked up by Johnny Law for Domestic Violence (not that it matters, but on the night before the Super Bowl where he's supposed to co-host a show)?  Look you 350+ pound dude, you NEVER put your hands on a woman.  Damn athletes, when are they gonna figure out that they should just call security or the cops?  The NFL Network did the right thing by suspending him for the festivities today.

From the stupid to stupdendous - the NFL Hall of Fame, Class of 2010.  The selections here should make almost everybody here at the Gab happy.  Congratulations to Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, John Randle, Floyd Little, Dick LeBeau, Russ Grimm, and Rickey Jackson.  That's about as solid a class as you can get.  I'm already looking forward to August!

NBA.  There seems to be some debate about Lakers “Broadcaster” Joel Meyers referring to Kobe Bryant as “the Greatest Laker ever” when he broke Jerry West’s scoring record.  Hey Joel you douche bag, Kobe couldn’t even break the starting lineup of an all-time Laker team.  I’m not down with Tragic the Myopian (err, Magic, err, Ervin) Johnson, but he is the greatest of all time, period, no debate!  The Lakers suck, and their hype machine is worse!

Let me leave my final rant for Hockey.  Dammit Hockey, where the hell exactly are you?  Look, I don’t get much time off from my work, and frankly the NBA is boring.  I keep telling the NHL that this is the time to rise up and outshine that turd known as the NBA.  However, I’m not gonna spend my Sundays watching either Pittsburgh or Washington on the douchebaggery channel otherwise known as NBC Sunday Hockey Game of the Week from Pittsburgh, so where does that leave me?  SCREWED, and not in a good way!
