Hello fellow Gabbers!

So I was sitting at my desk this afternoon and thought I would update you on the state of things here at YouGabSports.

First and foremost, Felber, Sully, and I would like to thank each and every one of you for helping to make February the most successful month in the history of the Gab! During February, we saw more than 20,000 page views and over 10,000 unique visitors make their way to YouGabSports. Sure, we can sort of nitpick about those numbers because let's face it, the mass majority of those unique visitors were here because of the Olympics, or more importantly, because they were searching for images of the various female athletes taking part in the games and somehow landed here. Still, we're not going to worry about what those viewers were doing with their other hand, we're just going to take our numbers and make sure we don't look down.

In regards to a recent update, you'll notice that there is a new toolbar at the bottom of the page now. This bar is brought to you by SKYSA, through a partnership with our web provider Spruz. To this bar, we can add various apps that will allow you to do different things on the Gab. For instance, we have one added that will take you to a random blog post on the site. We have another labeled "Fantasy Sports", which will guide you to the fantasy sports leagues we currently have set-up. More importantly, the bar allows us to convey to you important messages about YouGabSports without having to take away from the front page itself. With that in mind, let us know what you think of this addition.

As mentioned above, there is a button on the toolbar marked "Fantasy Sports". Currently, YouGabSports has created fantasy leagues at CBS.com for their March Madness Bracket Challenge and also at Yahoo.com for their Fantasy Baseball league. For the time being, we have only created one baseball league, but as we found out last year, we had to run two to get everyone in. If you wish to sign up for these leagues, all you need to do is click on the link and sign in. The password for the baseball league is "yougabbaseball". We decided to host it on Yahoo this season because they have always been a stable engine and let's face it, Sporting News proved both during baseball and football that it was not.

On one final quick note, we want to hear what you think. What do you think of the layout? Is there something we need to add? Remember, as much as we want to keep new people coming in, our foremost concern is keeping everyone happy while here, so we are always looking to improve on a good thing so that it doesn't become stale.
